Terms & Conditions
Legalities
As stated in the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, all animals must have veterinary consent prior to their initial appointment.
If a new condition is developed whilst the animal is receiving physiotherapy for an existing condition or maintenance, a new veterinary referral may be required before treatment can be continued

Failure to provide veterinary consent at the time of treatment will result in the animal not being seen

By accessing and utilising the services of Cheshire County Vet Physio you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
Animal Requirements
Please ensure that your animal is ready for their appointment in a clean and dry state. The effectiveness of treatment may be affected if an animal has a damp coat.
If any animal presents with illness (including but not limited to: coughing, sneezing, diarrhoea, lice or flea infestations) they will not be treated but the full appointment fee may be charged if not notified 48 hours prior to the appointment

It is the client/owner's responsibility to notify Cheshire County Vet Physio if the veterinary surgeon has advised that treatment should be suspended or stopped for any reason

Whilst every care will be taken to provide the best possible treatments for the animal, the treatments are carried out entirely at the owner's risk. The registered owner of the animal is fully responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their animal and any event that should arise as the result of the action of the animal at all times.
The animal is not the responsibility of Cheshire County Vet Physio
Client Confidentiality
The client/physiotherapist relationship is founded on trust and, in normal circumstances, will not discuss or disclose to any third party any information about a client or animal without either express or implied consent.
Ownership of Clinical Records
Cheshire County Vet Physio retains all clinical records as my property. Any veterinary surgeon or paraprofessional taking over the case may be forwarded copies of relevant records, but only upon the request or consent of the client
Payment
Payment by bank transfer is expected in full prior to the appointment

Cash payment is accepted at the time of the appointment

Full refunds will be given if an appointment is cancelled no later than 48 hours before the commencement of the appointment
If you cancel or fail to arrive to your appointment with less than 48 hours notice prior to the appointment, you will be charged 50% of your appointment fee

Cheshire County Vet Physio reserves the right to cancel the appointment at the time and retain the full appointment fee if:
-
The animal is not available at the time of the appointment
-
The animal is unable to be treated at the time of the appointment, e.g. they are showing signs of illness or infested with fleas
-
